Position Overview

Kirsch Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support financial operations for a growing organization in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections from clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working in accounting or finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices and ensure accurate billing procedures
• Monitor incoming payments and maintain accounts receivable records
• Reconcile accounts and investigate payment discrepancies
• Follow up with clients regarding outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records
• Prepare aging reports and assist with financial reporting
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve billing issues
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to receivables
• Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Support continuous improvement of billing and collection processes

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP
• Experience working in high-volume billing environments
