Position Overview

Kirsch Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Roofing Superintendent to oversee commercial roofing projects in the Pompano Beach, Florida area. This role is responsible for managing roofing crews, coordinating project schedules, ensuring work meets quality standards, and maintaining strict safety compliance on job sites.

The Roofing Superintendent will play a key leadership role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of roofing projects from start to completion
• Supervise roofing crews and subcontractors on job sites
• Coordinate project schedules, materials, and equipment
• Ensure work is completed according to specifications and quality standards
• Conduct job site inspections to monitor safety and workmanship
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
• Communicate project progress with project managers and leadership
• Manage job site logistics including deliveries, equipment, and crew coordination
• Identify and resolve project challenges to minimize delays
• Maintain documentation including job progress reports and safety records

Qualifications

• 5+ years of roofing or construction supervision experience
• Experience with commercial roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, metal, or modified bitumen
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of roofing safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple roofing projects simultaneously
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with commercial or industrial roofing projects

Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors on active construction sites and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, heights, and physically demanding work environments.
